Delay for flood defences? |

It seems that there might be a delay to the flood prevention improvements for Llangennech. The improvements were supposed to be finished by the summer, Rhys Williams of Carmarthenshire Council has now said it will be the Autumn. Councillors Gordon Lewis, Gwyneth Thomas and Ken Evans said this was unacceptable and the surveyor will now contact Rhys Williams again.
Householders in the area near the Park and the Bridge Inn are now struggling to get insurance and at least one house near the Park was flooded last Thursday.
